Sweetgrass Books is the custom publishing division of Farcountry Press, which since 1980 has specialized in softcover and hardcover color photography books showcasing the nation's cities, states, national parks, and wildlife, as well as children’s books and popular history titles.

We utilize the same professional staff and the same high-quality printing and binding to produce books (as well as catalogs and other promotional pieces) for our custom publishing clients.


When you publish with Sweetgrass Books:

• We guide you through the process to determine your needs and develop a personalized pricing list.
  
• You can elect to have us provide printing services only, or you can select from a range of editorial and production services.
  
• You control the book design.
  
• You can have our editorial staff edit and proofread your book, or choose to do so yourself.
  
• You retain all publishing rights to the book.
  
• You can publish your book quickly.
  
• You can print more copies at any time.
  
• We provide you with an ISBN (International Standard Book Number) and EAN barcode so you can sell to bookstores and online retailers.
  
• You can elect to have our parent company (Farcountry Press) distribute your books, which includes storage in our secure warehouse, monthly sales statements, order processing and shipping.
  
• You keep the profits from the sale of your book, rather than receive a royalty.
